About ShowMe

Somewhere between the Roman ruins, the smoke curling off a grill, and a trumpet that starts playing before you’ve even asked for it, there’s a region that has been quietly winning people over for centuries. Few people know it better, or love it more stubbornly, than Bane Simović.

Bane has spent a lifetime as one of the most respected figures in Serbian and Balkan tourism, the kind of guide other guides call when they need advice. ShowMe Tour Guide Service is what happens when that lifetime of knowledge decides to build something of its own: a local initiative made by people who never really stopped being amazed by the place they call home.

That’s really the whole idea behind ShowMe. We’re not interested in herding you through a checklist of sights. We want to build a tour around you. Your pace, your curiosities, your appetite (literally and otherwise), and hand you the region the way we’d show it to an old friend.

And there’s a lot to show. Ancient monuments and fortresses that have outlasted empires. Natural wonders that don’t photograph as well as they feel in person. Folk traditions, festivals, food and music that have been perfected over generations and are in absolutely no hurry to be trendy. Rugged trails and adrenaline for the ones who want their vacation to fight back a little. Some of our tours last a few unhurried hours. Others stretch across days. All of them are built to feel less like sightseeing and more like being let in on something.

None of this works without the right people, so every ShowMe tour is led by professional, licensed guides- a sharp, genuinely enthusiastic team with Bane still very much at the front of it. This isn’t a side gig for any of us. It’s the thing we’re best at.

ShowMe Serbia

Most of our adventures start in Niš, but our reach doesn’t stop there. Wherever you’re staying in Serbia or elsewhere in the Balkans, we can meet you there and build something around it.

So consider this your invitation. Come see Serbia the ShowMe way — beautiful one day, perfect the next.
